Purchased as Lot 657 from the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale, this colt stood out as a strong, athletic individual with excellent size, balance and presence. He is a very professional type — intelligent, relaxed and confident in his routine — exactly the characteristics trainers look for in a colt expected to get up and running early.
His sire Tassort was a brilliant juvenile, winning the Group 2 Skyline Stakes at Randwick in dominant fashion and stamping himself as one of the most exciting sons of Brazen Beau to retire to stud. Tassort has already made a strong impression with his first crops, producing sharp, precocious runners with natural speed, making them highly sought after by leading trainers and buyers.
This colt is out of Baroness de Ville, adding further depth to the pedigree and reinforcing the speed influence that Australian racing thrives on. The mating represents a commercial cross designed to produce fast, early-running sprinters, exactly the type that dominate metropolitan racing and the lucrative juvenile races.
